The Founder's Story
Through storytelling, scripture reflection, and faith-centered encouragement, the foundation seeks to help people recognize that their story is not finished—and that God is still writing
Born in the challenging environment of Buffalo, NY, projects during the 1960s and 70s, our founder, George, overcame significant odds. Raised by a single mother, grappling with a speech impediment, dyslexia, and the looming threat of gang violence, basketball became his sanctuary and a pathway to new opportunities. His life took an indelible turn on September 17, 1996, during a live radio broadcast, when the news of impending fatherhood led him to accept Christ, forever redirecting his path and laying the foundation for StoryGlory Foundation.

StoryGlory Foundation exists to help people discover that their life story has purpose, meaning, and a place in God’s greater story.
Every person carries experiences, challenges, victories, and lessons that shape who they are. Sometimes those stories are filled with joy. Other times they are marked by pain, confusion, or unanswered questions. Our mission is to help individuals reflect on those moments and see how God is still writing a story of redemption, healing, and transformation.
